Hi,

I'm getting the following error when I try to log in (today - yesterday it worked fine, aside from the new user form still not working properly):

Fatal error: Call to a member function addCustomFootTag() on a non-object in /home/notfried/public_html/community/components/com_content/content.html.php on line 726

I am looking for a kids themed template for my teaching page and can't seem to find any free ones.

Can anyone offer suggestions on where to look for themes with a kids look, or teaching themes ?

Polls on Various vs. All pages

Hi,

I'm using miaCMS 4.9 and am hoping to display various Polls on different pages.

If set the Polls Module to display on ALL pages, and 1 specific Poll (Component) to display on ALL pages, it works, fine.

However, I've been unable to get different Polls to appear on different pages. The configurations I've tried are:

MODULE set to ALL
COMPONENT ITEM set to ALL
RESULT: Shows on ALL PAGES

MODULE set to ALL
COMPONENT ITEM set to SPECIFIC PAGE
RESULT: Shows on NO PAGES

MODULE set to SPECIFIC PAGE
COMPONENT ITEM set to SPECIFIC PAGE
RESULT: Shows on NO PAGES

Any insite on this?

Running the latest version of miaCMS on Apache with MySQL5, I'm getting a massage that says:

"The page at www.mysite.com says:

Unable to prune old revisions from database".

A newbie question.

I have a website running on Mia 4.6.5 and one of my authors, while an excellent writer, has troubles with computer interfaces. What I am looking for is an easy way for her to add new items to the blog she is responsible for.

Ideally, a "Post new" item in user menu, which opens editor (bonus if it is just a basic html window, she does not need anything except plain text and all the buttons in "advanced" editors confuse her) window to add a new item into certain Section, certain Category and automatically set its status to "published".

If I understand correctly the first part (publishing to certain Section) can be done via "index.php?option=com_content&task=new§ionid=20" item in user menu, but what about two others?

Upgrading from 4.6.5 to 4.9.0

Can I jump from 4.6.5 to 4.9.0 or should I install the patches and other versions first? How difficult will it be? Is it a matter of using the universal installer or just replacing directories? I am asking because I don't want to loose the current website.

Send Registration Button Unresponsive in 4.9

Hi I hope this message finds all well.

It's a (nearly) fresh install of 4.9 (using original Mambo database) and the "Send Registration" button in the page to create an account does not respond (beyond the button txt jiggling).

I've checked and permissions are 644 for files and 755 for directories. I tried changing al permissions to 755, no difference.

We're running Apache Server, php5, SQL5 (i think).

Any insights?

Im try start a translation to my native language and choose iso as charset now all operations of mia stoped.

Mia 4.8.1 problems

I have updated to MiaCMS 4.8.1 from 4.6.5 and everything seems fine. However, there are 2 things that do not work anymore. I am not 100% sure if this is due to the update, or that it has a different reason, since I do not use both features regularly.

1. When I add a new module, I no longer get the screen where I can choose the type of module (e.g. polls, latest news, popular, etc.), I directly go to the custom HTML screen. Anyone any help?

2. When adding images using the standard Media tool, the file name are added to the folder, however the image is 0kb and is (therefore) invisible. Again, any help would be highly appreciated.
