Re: Lies Lies and More Lies - Or Extremely Twisted Words

I just want to say that regardless of who is "right"...this kind of bickering isn't helping anyone or anything...in any way, shape, or form. It will only serve as fuel for more trash talk on forums and blogs all over the cyber globe.

This is just my personal opinion, but I don't really get what the fight is about. We're talking about software here, not home, land or country. It's not even commercial software, which would almost justify a bit of squabbling. We all have the right to turn and "walk away" from a project or community if we don't like something about it. I would fight to the death to protect anyone in my family; but a CMS is something I use to build web sites. Nuff said.

I only have contempt for one woman in open source - Lynne Pope. A well deserved contempt I might add.

Funny how when the temper flares only one thing comes out, "poor poor me. I'm a woman and nobody respects me." Man, I have so much Skype material on that subject I could write a book.

Somehow, I don't think there'll be any competition from the other camp. Professional it aint.

Uh, yea. I think most would call it paranoia. Laughable at best.

Re: Lies Lies and More Lies - Or Extremely Twisted Words

Reading this thread, I came to realize that there are obviously  a lot of people that have been hurt deeply. I'm just a user and don't want to comment on who ist right or wrong.

I just read this on the Mambo Forum: http://forum.mambo-foundation.org/showt … hp?t=13713

Maybe it's time to bury the knives and to concentrate on the development of Mia/Mambo.

Keep on with your good work that brought us lot's of improvements since the birth of Mia

Will Mambo never learn?  Reading the above, I guess not!

Good to see another fork out there!  Even after all these years Mambo lives in on!  Testament itself to the quality of the software no matter what disguise it wears.
